In today’s feedback session I showed of my textured test render of Adams Character model. For this I received a lot of comments on how realistic he looked, with special praise to the skin and hair. In regards to the hair a common comment that I got from both the session and friends when I showed him to them was that the hair was extremely silky and smooth. I had considered trying to make the hair dirtier, like I did when I looked at the original test render’s uncanny perfect shine, however people seem to like the current version of the hair so I am considering keeping it how it is.


Overall, I was extremely happy with how the render turned out when compared to the original test. In the original version the skin looked like plastic and I received feedback for it on Slack to make it more realistic. However, it turned out the problem was that the program had forgot the UV unwrap that I did which was why, despite using roughly the same material in both renders, the second render looked much more realistic.
