In this workshop we combined the skills that we had learnt in the previous sessions by drawing perspective-based frames from films that had high contrast. This allowed us to explore both perspective and shading. For this workshop I learnt from my bad experience in the last one by using traditional techniques to create my outcomes. This allowed me to avoid technical difficulties and follow along with the session much better. Overall, I was happy with most of the outcomes, however I kept noticing that I often placed the vanishing point too high on the page, leading to inaccurate perspective. This led me to thinking for some of my drawings that they would have been more accurate if I hadn’t focused on using the perspective guidelines.
